The best bahn mi in Paris, without a doubt! But be careful, Angela has changed stores, and the bahn mi which is currently (since August 2013) at this address is not up to par.
Hello BANH-MI to move to 81, rue Turbigo 75003 Paris Angela is back
I really wanted to like this place. I have taken my parents and my brother's raids on a 20-minute walk to this place to grab sandwiches. we were very hopeful to enter. the owner spoke at least 5 languages (vietnamese, French, Cantonese, Mandarin, English) and...was kind with my oldest. we took the sandwiches to go, and they were underwhelmed. the french brot was excellent (no surprise) but the pig bell was just too fat. the carrots were not picked up. all sandwiches just didn't hit the mark. I would take over lees sandwiches in socal at any time. the French taste is perhaps not good with the traditional banh mi. disappointment
We went to this little place twice on 7 rue volta, because a friend recommended as the best banh mi in the city. the first time it was closed. we decided to go back to find that the owner had run out of baguettes. she had two and we offered her another, but it was the wrong way. in any case we have a pig, a special and a bark. we just liked the pork that was delicious. She was very sweet. the funny thing was that I then read some reviews that suggest that the original restaurant was moved. So I'm not sure if this is the best banh mi in the city. o
