Everything was perfect., we ordered Palak Paneer, Daal and Prawn Curry. Curry was averaged because Prawns were over cooked but Palak Paneer with French Cheez and Daal was EXCEPTIONAL. Will definitely going again when ever visiting Paris again. Sorry for sharing picture with messy plates as my brother was too hungry :
Indian food is my area of expertise. The food here was not bad. Mixed pakora starter was drenched in oil. However the daal and naan breads were good. Lamb biryani consisted of tender lamb and the taste was ok. I was quite shocked when the bill totalled to €50 for those few items. A bottle of water charged at €3.5 is ludicrous..
The restaurant itself was not big. We went for lunch, so it was not crowded. It might be crowded during dinner time. The food was alright. It was not excellent, but decent. Butter chicken was good. We ordered a platter for 2, consisted of chicken tandoori, prawns, lamb cubes, and lamb kofta(?, not too sure what its called). It was just 2 pieces of each, hence, the serving was not that big (i doubt it would be filling for 2 guys to share). The tandoori and prawns were good, the lamb cubes were rather tough, and the lamb kofta was alright (my mum couldnt take the taste but i was fine with it). Service was rather slow considering that there were only us and 2 other couples. Took about 45-50mins for our food to arrive.
First of all I would request the owner of this dirty restaurant... Please don't spoil the reputation of Indian food. We Indians take pride in our cuisine and restaurant serves substandard stale food. We ordered chicken Tikka masala, mutton and dal makhani along with butter rotis and stuffed Nan. The roti Nan were brownish black and sour sign of stale food). The mutton was uncooked and chewy not edible). The chicken Tikka masala was full of colour dark orange) and tasteless. Mr Owner, please visit India and taste dal makhani once so that you and your chef know what it is) The staff is not courteous as well. Unhygienic washrooms. Dingy ambience. Please don't waste your time and money over this place.
