Awful service. We paid euros for one salad, two small sandwiches with ham and Coca. To be true, they just profit the location. The worst cafe in the museum I have visited.
When we visited the Pompidou centre we weren't very keen on the restaurant inside the museum. we had spotted the mezzanine café but we had entered the museum, we needn't had worried as you can exit and re-enter if you wish to use the café....We only wished to get a small bottle of wine and a snack. I cant say I would have eaten a meal here as the restaurant on the top floor is more suited. The wine was on the same par and price as the local establishments, service was quick and there were plemty of places to sit and people watching.
We had just arrived after a lot of walking and all we wanted was coffee and cake. The service was very good and the apple tart and palmier pastry was delicious. The downside was that it was pricey.
Great location with comfortable seating but for a pre-packed sandwich and a cold drink isn’t great value!
