Located in the heart of the museum near Italian paintings. Beautiful view of the pyramid of the pleasant outdoor terrase opening when it takes beautiful. You have to queue for lunch.Sandwichs at 7.5€ about correct food (No high gastronomy in this museum)
My husband and I each took a coffee with milk and shared a pretzel sandwich. The sandwich was pretty good but the coffees were disappointing. Our daughter had an orangina and fries. the location is really perfect with views of the pyramids. we visited by a very hot day and we have the chance to find a shaded table, so we are actually very comfortable. No one noticed if our daughter was eating her morning crescent remains, which was a bonus. the staff was quite friendly and the prices were relatively high, as could be expected in a world-class museum.
We stopped for our lunch during a visit to the open, just before the midday affluence. We both had special lunch at 13,90 euros - brass quiche, chips and drink. the quiche would have been much better if it had been heated throughout, but they blew the portions in a "heat cycle" so that this line will continue to move quickly. insist that they give him "2 heat blows" and you will enjoy your lunch. The best part of the meal was to eat on the outdoor patio, overlooking the glass pyramid and the entrance of the lover. After the stifling air of the museum, it was a refreshing break for the day. Maybe a coffee and a pastry shop would be a better choice.
When you need a break, it is easy to go to the coffee. food and drinks are correct and it is nice to sit on the terrace. prices are not bad either.
