I am still dreaming of the beautiful sandwiches I ate in Paris at Coupi Bar!! I was walking past and something in my gut told me to go inside, thank goodness I did. The coffee was delicious and the beef sandwich was the best Vietnamese sandwich I have ever had. My husband is a big Vietnamese sandwich lover so I have tried many of them over the years in different parts of the world, but Coupi Bar was easily the best one I have ever eaten. One of the reasons the sandwich was so great is because in addition to the fresh cilantro and carrots, the tangy sweet sauce on the beef and the pickled cucumbers ~ the baguette was part of the main event, not just a side note like so many others. The bread tasted like it had just come out of the oven as the sandwich was being made and each bite was the perfect crunch!! It's a little bit on the edge of town but worth the subway ride!!! Bonus: super clean bathroom which I always appreciate.

The banh mi are just delicious and mention the bread that is very good tradition of bread.) ok the sandwiches are a little smaller and a little more expensive, but the quality is there.
