Frenchy Taste - Paris

The experience was marvelous! The food was delicious. Chef Jean-Yves made the experience grand. My then 2 year old soon to be 3 year old daughter was with us and he made her a special meal that was kid friendly. We really appreciated his efforts. We had 11 of our family members attend the dinner and another couple from America joined us and they were a nice addition. We all had a great time. The wine was great and the food and experience was even better! Our visit was in Nov 2019 before the pandemic....the choices would not allow me to select that far back.

After my first time here, I knew it is a must to come here every time I visit Paris. This time I wanted to try his cooking class, unfortunately, it was unavailable. It was still a great alternative to experience his dinner service again. The course menu was as amazing as I remembered. Between the brief explanation by Chef Vuong to the perfect balance of tasting each dish while cleansing my palate—ready for the next dish. I will definitely return when I have a chance and hopefully the cooking class will be available.

This private restaurant owned by the winner of the French Masterchef in 2012 is one of the most unique dinning experiences of my life. The dinner is set for no more than 8 people and Chef Jean who is French Vietnamese is an inspired chef. Taking flavors and cooking styles from both cultures he blends a truly one of a kind dining experience. He tells you the spices and the items cooked along with how to eat them in order to experience the magic flavors of his cooking. Each course and there are 4 is paired with its own unique wine or cocktail that enhances the flavors sensation of the food. The chef is with you throughout the meal and the intimate dining allows for great conversation amount total strangers. It was a wonderful evening and a truly unique and fabulous dining experience here in the city of lights!!!!!

Master Chef Jean-Eves and his sous chef, Fred, provided our group of 14 friends with one of the most memorable evenings ever. The multi-course (7? 9? I lost count it was all so good! menu was different and absolutely delicious. Chef's cuisine is a mix of French and Fusion with a very light touch and a variety of flavors. The dining room, which is a bright, beautiful and cozy cave-like area in a townhouse in Paris, enhances the atmosphere of the whole evening. Will try to do it again next time I'm in Paris!!

This was quite an amazing experience to dine in Paris in a small intimate setting with 10 other people. The service was impeccable as our chef detailed each course explaining the flavor expectations of each dish. His sous chef also described the wines which were served with each course. The menu is chosen for you which was an eclectic mix of French and Asian cuisine. The wine cellar in his private home was thoughtfully designed and decorated making the most of a quaint space in the heart of Paris. It was fun dining with people looking for a similar experience and getting to know a little about each of them. The experience was recommended to us by friends whose family dined with French Taste for Christmas dinner. We highly recommend this venue, the chefs and the entire experience.
