Very nice french restaurant ! It is a real chef, making real french foodEverything is home made, even the Foie Gras or the desserts.
Recommended by the Intercontinental Hotel, this restaurant was terrible. It's supposed to highlight fresh ingredients and perhaps the tuna was fresh. However, there is nothing French about the dishes here, and the tuna was over-seasoned with ginger so that you tasted nothing else. The Camembert cheese was cold and tasteless. The restaurant was empty except for two other tourists. They served the dishes so fast we were done in 40 minutes. Last time I ask the Intercontinental for a dining suggestion.
We ate at La Haut Cloche on a recommendation and it didn't disappoint. Bistro standards such as house foie gras, salmon tartare and warm chevre salad are well prepared, fresh and full of flavour. The wine list is fair value as well. The service was prompt and friendly. English menus & spoken.
