Access with a car can be cumbersome as the street in front t of the restaurant may be jammed by cars picking up people. Use the valet parking at €8 or come by foot or taxi. I had an excellent Octopus carpaccio and the secreto iberico (very tender Piece of pork steak) was cooked to perfection. Excellent choice of French wines by the glass and bottles. With some good value picks, turning to expensive for the more renouned wines. Staff friendly. They tuned down the music immediately after asking... Cannot understand the previous bad reviews in French & English. I am coming back!
Visited on business as part of a large, pre-booked group, weather was amazing (28 degrees) and were seated on the large outside veranda overlooking the Seine.Food for me was very good (vegetarian choices) but others were less happy with the fish and beef dishes. Chocolate desert was incredible and the table wine really very good (and unexpected).Service was 'unusual' with staff asking to be passed items and eagerness to clear condiments from the table but we were served quickly and efficiently. No idea if was value for money as it was paid for.Tour Eiffel is only a short walk from here and can be seen from the restaurant.
We had a superb table with a great view on the Seine but the food was really average neither tasty nor well presented. A bit sad compared with what it used to be a few years ago.
Far and away the best restaurant in the quartier Beaugrenelle a little pricey but Food is excellent Staff attentive and courteous For a business lunch perfect Overall great place for that something extra
Arrived very late for our already late booking due to Eurostar delays and was greeted absolutely wonderfully - the staff were smiley and attentive, really lovely welcome and service throughout. I had the octopus carpaccio to start which was the best I've ever had (I've had a lot of these in London - no where near as good) the dish was served beautifully. Then I had salmon for main which was delicious! It was perfectly cooked and the mushrooms were so tasty. My boyfriend had the chateaubriand and he said it was the best steak he has had in a very long time (he's had many many many steaks...) To finish, I had lemon tart which was sharp and sweet - absolutely perfect. The staff really made this restaurant what it was. The view was fantastic, the restaurant was beautifully decorated, the atmosphere was great and the music and lighting was just the right level. Honestly, I would recommend to anybody to go here. I would imagine not many tourists have heard of it so was the perfect place!
