Le Hibou - Paris

Amazing restaurant place, on the weekend it’s a great family place to go as it is kid friendly. Food is great i the menu is full of multiple dishes i recommend to order everything on the menu as i have tried every dish and they are all delicious, the atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are amazing. Not to forget that the location of the place is great as you can find a-lot of parking spaces in the area. This wasn’t my first time going to the place and for sure won’t be my last .

Location? Amazing Ambiance? Excellent Food? Passable only Service? Very poor We were a party of five with 2 locals. We had to get up from the table and go ask someone to take our drink order after waiting over an hour being completely ignored. When they came to take our order they barked at us that they wanted us to order the food first, then drinks. In the middle of my Mother telling her selection the server walks off, talking to a male employee. The menu lists the main courses and 5 side dishes from which you can choose. They never asked us what sides we wanted they just arbitrarily chose. The food came. The server dropped the basket of bread, knocking over my son’s drink. Then she picks up the bread off the table (and one piece that fell on an empty chair) and SERVED IT TO US. No replacement or anything. Our French family was so embarrassed that eventually we had to just choose to laugh it was so bad it was actually comical.

Definitely a nice choice for the area. It has a nice garden/terrace with nice view. Meals are definitely above the average (but be careful about your order for meat, they may overcook it, ask accordingly). The wines are ok. Prices are a little above the average. Service is ok but the tables are too small and the bread served is not good (contrary to almost all restaurants in Paris).
