Café Procope - Paris

Amazing, the oldest café in Paris, a restaurant full of history in a timeless setting. We eat very well. Possibility of having private lounges is rare in Paris

We spent an extremely pleasant moment with a smiling and discreet service with friends. The places are magical and full of History...The ordered dishes were a delight and we take advantage of this comment to thank the chef, as we were unable to do live. I recommend the Procope to all lovers of authenticity, gourmet cuisine and chic service, in French. Thanks to the whole team.

You have to go for the very nice and pleasant setting. The staff is attentive, discreet while being present. However, food is clearly basic, nothing extraordinary. Industrial foie gras without gustative originality (22€ the slice could have a minimum personality, the meat not oufism fortunately the sauce helps to mask its lack of tenderness/moelleux. Doing for the frame not for food except if not French because the card is classic nothing that can be eaten at home.

These a beautiful place, straight out of another time. The gastronomes will be happy, I have very good lunch. We were on a unique menu, but I think I'm gonna have to come back because I've been vanished with the veal head like the speciality of the place.
