We had the king prawns which were big and delicious and the steak with pepper sauce which was excellent so no complaints about the food. The house wine was OK but at 16 Euros for a 50 cl carafe (less than a bottle) this was expensive. This is the land where a very good bottle of Bordeaux can be purchased for less than 10 Euros and a bottle of house wine of this quality should cost between 3 and 5 Euros. Recommendation Walk further along Rue du Faubourg and pick another bistro there are plenty to choose from.
My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and couldn't be happier about our experience. The host/waiter/owner was very friendly and personable (albeit in broken English with us). We had the confit duck and duck breast. We also had the brioche/pain perdu with ice cream and chocolate mousse for dessert both delicious.
