Banani - Paris 15e Arrondissement

The banani restaurant is really a nice and interesting resraurant. It is not situated near all the attractions of Paris so it offers a really tasty and original indian food. The prices are, therefore, not high for a good quality. The atmospher stays calm. Great for a relaxing business lunch. I have just yo say that the groom should be more smiling and less stressed. But i think this is because of Paris.

This restaurant is owned by a spanish women married with a Bangladeshy. i went there invited by Bangladeshy friend in visit and really the best tasting in Paris till today. It is not spicy but if you wished to just ask. we have tasted all meals and really never disappointed..just a question of taste ! kids love the byrhiani! the homemade ice creams are gorgeous. to ge again with pleasure even if other side of paris !

Very good cuisine, great prices, even greater service. Recommend everbody who likes Indian food.

Maybe I have very high standards because I particularly like Indian cuisine and have been to a lot of Indian restaurants, but this place was very disappointing. My first clue should have been that we were the only ones in the restaurant at dinner time, but we were hungry and the interior was so lovely that we thought it was worth a try. While the waiter was very pleasant, offering us a free apperatif when we came in, the food was terrible. We both ordered the butter chicken, which was grisly, tasteless and lukewarm. In addition, the portions were tiny. All in all, it was a very disappointing meal. One other thing to note about this place the neighbourhood is a bit creepy at night, so if you're going to go, go while it is still daylight out.

Ayant quitté le quartier, je n'étais venu dans ce restaurant depuis plusieurs années...Le cadre et l'accueil n'ont pas changé mais le contenu de l'assiette a été très décevant : mon chicken biryani n'était pas de toute fraîcheur. Il avait dû être réchauffé plusieurs fois, le poulet (plutôt rare dans l'assiette) avait ce goût de réchauffé désagréable et le riz était compact et ramolli.Glace (petite) à 7 euros.Je n'y retournerai pas...
