Every time I go, it reminds me of Japan: An authentic VRAI sushi restaurant. It's tiny, the frame isn't great and prices are more expensive than elsewhere, but it's quite justified because you'll enjoy real sushi like in Japan. Nothing to do with the miserable tuna/saumon sushi that we find everywhere and that have nothing to do with the real sushi. This is the only place you can eat the toro (thon fat) and the little papy that prepares them in front of you is adorable.
Quality is exceptional. Tanno-san is a good Japanese chef and he prepares dishes on the counter. The atmosphere is intimate, fish are very fresh and some ingredients are imported (such as rice).
I know it's a bit radical to say that, but this restaurant is the only sushi restaurant I've been doing for at least 10 years! I continued to recommend it because the fish is delicious, the typical and exemplary welcome. Prices are relatively expensive, but you will not find more pleasant and authentic in Paris (and I made BEAUCOUP of Japanese restaurant in the capital). I strongly recommend trying it alone or accompanied. You'll never regret getting there!
One of the best sushi in the capital, served by a true Japanese master (it is rare enough to be reported who knows his profession. Forgive them the exiguity of the place, it's worth it! (See better than in some restaurants in Japan
