4 of us went there. The place was empty at 8:00, which seemed strange to me. nice dining room and very attentive staff. We ordered a variety of pasta, risottos and salads, all of which were very good. But after ordering a martini on the list, they came back and said they had no vodka. By ordering a dessert, they basically said no when my stepmother ordered a cappacino. the place seemed to collapse a bit and if we looked at him from an American point of view, we would have said he was dying. Good food, but I wouldn't go back. they also refused to pack my wife's full risotto portion and refused to take away food

We may like the decor a little sophisticated, even if it is not really Parisian or really Italian. food lacks invention, although it is correct, but in no case at the level of expectations that prices might create. service is also medium, and sometimes clearly deficient. overall, he settimo lacks authenticity, both in the plate and in the atmosphere.

Visited a Friday night and the restaurant was practically deserted, so, although magnificent, it was missing the atmosphere you get when you are part of a larger culinary experience, although anonymous, which was a pity. polite and fast service (maybe a little too fast because we felt a little bit in a hurry) and the waitress was very compelling to help us with our selection of wines and was patient with our bad French mastery even though she spoke very well English. food was delicious and just the right size of serving - but could have been a little more inspiring to match the scenery that, I think, eclipses the food as a whole. It's not a bad experience but nothing to make me want to fulminate and extasier either.
