I chose the salad, which was quite pricey for what it was, but that's Paris for you. For dessert, I had a dish made with chia seeds that was delicious. I inquired about the availability of vegan scones, but was informed curtly that they were not deemed good enough by the establishment and were not offered as per their policy. Despite feeling nearly attacked by the response, I bit my tongue and did not protest. I even bake delicious vegan scones myself, but in any case, I wouldn't return to this restaurant as I did not feel comfortable there.
I opted for the 9-euro salad of the day, which consisted of millet, grated carrots, fennel, parsley, and seeds. Although it was on the pricey side, it was tasty. For dessert, I tried a dish made with chia seeds, which was also delicious. When I inquired about vegan scones, I was curtly informed that they were not available due to the restaurant's policy. I was taken aback by the response, but decided not to argue. Despite the good food, I did not feel comfortable and do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
The vegetable options for the day included a 9-euro salad with millet, grated carrots, fennel, parsley, and seeds, or a cauliflower soup. I opted for the salad, which I found to be quite expensive for what it was, but considering we are in Paris... I also had a dessert made with chia seeds, which was really delicious. I inquired about vegan scones, given the name of the restaurant, and was informed rather brusquely that they do not serve vegan scones as they are not deemed to be good and not in line with the restaurant's policy. I felt slightly attacked by this response but chose not to confront the issue. I personally can make delicious vegan scones, so overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant as I did not feel comfortable.
