I cannot speak for the other reviews. However I have had dinner here twice. The food was simple but well executed and the service was good. It is popular with locals as well. I would suggest giving it a try

I was sitting at the bar waiting for a friend. Girl behind the bar was top notch, smiling, very popular with locals and price was very cheap for the area (€5 the pint). I highly recommend this café.

Love this place. My daughter works close by so I like to wait in here and have a couple of beers, olives, nuts etc whilst waiting for her to finish. Happy hour make this a little more affordable. (5-8pm from memory) ;)

Stopped in after checking out several other locations. Found this place to be open and friendly. Waiter did not speak English well but really made the effort to help with menu and ordering. Good food. Night we were there they had live 'Chicago' style jazz...More

Typical drop in and give it a try place. Attracted by the warm atmosphere and the very French menu. Attentive service brought us escargots, country sausages, an enjoyable house wine, and a superb Apple tart. The food was good to very good. The experience authentic. The price was reasonable. All those smiling faces and romantic couples were certainly enjoying themselves, and en Francaise
