Contribuisci feedbackWe had a Saturday night reservation but when we arrived at the restaurant the parking lot was empty and the lights were off. The restaurant was closed and neither the restaurant nor open table alerted us to this.
Never experienced the food. Esty closed for the evening without a call. This happened after calling to modify a reservation and left phone , as instructed, with no call back. Drove to location to modify reservation during published hours but doors were locked. Ended up canceling and rebooking reservation in order to accommodate desired change. Confirmed reservation, but when my party of 7 showed up to Esty a hand written note on the door informed us we would not be dining there. I have heard good things about the food, but I will never know.
One of the best nights out I've had in a long time. My partner and I were out for our wedding anniversary. We were both made to feel so special. The library atmosphere was so welcoming and cozy. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable when we had questions about the specials. The drinks were nice and strong. Our dinner came out quickly and was cooked to perfection. We skipped the dessert but they did sound great. Next time for sure. I would highly recommend Esty Street to anyone looking to have a spectacular night out.
Another great date night. The Tuna Tartar was excellent, the beet salad was fresh with just the right balance of ingredients. The Icelandic Cod was delicious. Service was right on key. Friendly and helpful. Our cocktails were imaginative and well balanced. We will be back for another date night soon
We had not been there in a while and decided to try again. I remember the cozy library and fish. We started with the spicy Tuna tartar, not really spicy. It was quite good but needed a kick to it. We also tried a special salmon appetizer. For dinner they had a veal shop and I asked for medium rear, she said to try medium plus due to the size of it. Should have gone the way I had chosen. We also ordered the fillet mignon, medium rare with a crab cake. We had to return the fillet mignon, it was overcooked, the crab cake was quite bland. I asked them to keep my chop warm while waiting for the fillet. We waited about 15 minutes for it. My chop was even drier and opted to take more than half home for a family member who likes well done meat. We order the Triple chocolate dessert it was good but not great. I had an expresso martini, it was ok. Service was good but maybe suggesting to cook meats more not a great idea. It is best to undercook and send back if it’s not to one’s liking. Staff tries to be helpful and caring. If we go back, I will stick to their seafood. Beautiful presentation of the food. Don’t mind prices as long as food is good. If you pay by credit card, you will be charged 4% extra.
