Hangry Ohana - Parker

I had a delicious meal! I ordered to-go and took some time to read reviews while I was waiting. My experience was quite different from the one and two-star reviews I came across. I got the Ohana Plate with potato salad and bacon fried rice, and it was fantastic. The bacon bits in the fried rice added a wonderful smoky flavor. The potato salad was great, and both the chicken and pork were flavorful and distinct. The portion size was generous – I couldn't even finish it! I’ll definitely return and recommend these unique dishes to everyone!

We are consistently impressed by this restaurant! My family and I have been loyal customers since they first opened, and every time we order, we are pleasantly surprised by how delicious their food is. We've tried nearly all the items on the menu, and we love every single one! The chicken katsu and spicy poke are definitely some of our favorites, along with the ribs! The staff is always friendly, and our food is served quickly and fresh. I highly recommend this place!

My partner and I ordered dinner at 8:30 PM tonight, along with a beer. Our food did not arrive until 8:57 PM, and when the server finally brought it, he informed us, “We close in 3 minutes, so I can’t wait for you to finish.” We asked him rhetorically, “Should we also take our beer?” to which he replied, “Yes, let me get you a lid.” This meant we had to rush and finish our beer quickly. As if that wasn't frustrating enough, when we got home, we discovered that everything was overcooked, with at least 1/4 inch of oil sitting at the bottom of the container.

I was eager to try this restaurant. The macaroni salad was decent, but the BBQ was dry. The chicken katsu was okay, especially when paired with the sauce (although I had to return for that). I was really looking forward to the speck fried rice, but it completely missed the mark in terms of flavor. It wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't make the 20-minute drive to eat here again.

I was really looking forward to trying this place after hearing they had North Bank Wars. Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to my expectations. The bread was heavy and dense, and it desperately needed some salt. The mac salad was decent, but the potato salad and the tarts didn't taste homemade at all. The only saving grace was the Dole Whip, which was the highlight of the meal. Overall, I can only give it 2 stars.
