Gyro King - Parkersburg

Today, we had lunch at Gyro King for the first time, and we absolutely loved it. I ordered the salmon salad, while others in our group opted for the gyros and sandwiches. Everything was fresh, authentic, and incredibly tasty. We highly recommend trying this place out. We can’t wait to return!

I?ve been here many times. The food is freshly made and really good! The chef there, certainly understands the proper spice balance. His sauces are great and the vegetables taste like they come from his garden!

The food is absolutely delicious! You can really see that the owner pours their heart into every dish. I've never been disappointed. Today, we enjoyed the Chicken Shawarma and Gyro Salad, and every bite was bursting with amazing flavors!

This is undoubtedly the best gyro I've ever tasted. It has a clear Moroccan influence, even in the cheesesteak (as shown in the picture), which brings a whole new level of flavor to the already delicious gyro. Don't be put off by the prices; the sandwiches are huge and incredibly satisfying. I will definitely return next time I'm in town, and I plan to bring friends with me. I’m also really looking forward to trying the hummus!

Was passing through Parkersburg at lunchtime, so I thought I'd try this place out. The place is T I N Y, but don't let that deter you. If you're more than two people, it's going to be cozy. I decided to eat in my car since it was lunch time. Based on the rating, I was OK with the 10 minute wait. After all, it's one guy. Honestly the best gyro I've had, and best falafel I've had. Wow. Veggies were cool and crispy and seasoned well, the pita was charred lightly from thegrill, and that sauce was just fantastic. Heavy on the dill and spices. Falafels were warm, crunchy and heavily seasoned...SO good. He didn't skimp on them either.. The little crumbles of feta were a nice touch. Just all around great interms of texture and flavors. Gyro King indeed! I WILL be coming back here.
