Christmas in July at Parkerville Tavern was a lovely experience. The food was a bit of a let down but it is pub grub and the kitchen was most probably put under extra pressure for this occasion, as the place was absolutely bouncing with happy carefree people. The atmosphere was lovely. All the tables were decked out with Christmas deco and crackers.The log fires were burning and the entertainment was of very high standard. The entertainers were very inclusive of the customers. Hills people do not need an invitation to let their hair down anyway! The wait staff were tremendous.Nothing was too much bother. They were very knowledgeable of the menu on offer and the menu was very nicely displayed on your place mat .All in all it was a great fun night out. No doubt we will be back next year if not before.

What a hidden gem! Fireplaces, mulled wine (delicious!) succulent steaks, well priced, excellent service! Thanks guys, we'll be back! Paul and Marthe
