Raku Hibachi Sushi - Parkesburg

Don't judge a restaurant by its location or front because you will do what we did and skip out on this place for way too long! Finally ate dinner here and SO GLAD WE DID, such great service and food. Our chef couldn't have been better, he was so fun and funny! We had a great family time and had a lot of leftovers!! They offer a military discount which is greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back!

Raku Hibachi Sushi came at the wrong time, they opened just before the pandemic hit, and they suffered a lot but why am I putting that in my review? Well they pushed through it and persevered so people can enjoy their food and entertainment. Yes, they'll entertain you as you eat with the food they're preparing for you. I usually sit away from the noise but I know everyone's having a great time. I love their miso soup and their chicken katsu, I could eat them everyday! Give this place a try because they deserve it!

I ordered nigiri ala carte. Decently seasoned sushi rice and well portioned fish. I ordered one roll with shrimp tempura and one roll that was entirely deep fried. Both came out hot and crispy.

I drive myself 45 mins to dine here for sushi! Every roll I've tried has been so perfectly balanced, creative, and fresh. A comfortable atmosphere inside as well. Ate here when it was busy on vday and been here as one of the few tables dining service has always been pleasant and there for you. Stands above the rest in the area.

Service was amazing!!! My waiter Troy will super nice and very thoughtful. He made sure to ask about any special allergies. The chef made the food fresh. You can tell it wasn?t just sitting , it was made to order. Everything was delicious!! People make sure you please tip your waiters!! ??
