At first glance, it may seem expensive, but the portions (salads, appetizers and entrees) are enough for two. They have the best, most tender beef (imported from Italy) we have ever tasted. Plenty of leftoverslike getting two meals for the price of one. We eat here 3-5 times a month and have never had a bad dish.
Save your time and money. Place is overrated. Portions are small and way overpriced. Plenty of other restaurants that have better atmosphere, service and especially food.
We were given a $100.00 gift certificate and went there on a Tuesday night. The food was good, not great. The prices are high although, I 'm assuming because it 's located in an affluent area and cater to the rich and famous, so they are accustomed to high prices. It seems to me that restaurants do not pay enough attention to their customers. No one asked if that was our first visit in an effort to ensure a good first impression, and hopefully a second. In my mind I was ready to leave with an OK impression until we overheard the staff say, "oh not another one, referring to the gift certificate, and worse yet, as hard as it is to imagine the waiter chased us into the parking lot asking for another $5.69 without reading or noticing the cash we left in the billfold, however, the fact that they chased us IN THE PARKING LOT was totally classless. Additionally, we had to read the bill for them, and show them that the tax was paid in the cash we left plus, an additional 15% tip that we feel wasn 't deserved. What kind of no class **** is that? The bill was $100.49, and we left $121.00. Pete, do the math. The $5.69 just cost you my business, not to mention the parking lot story to everyone I know. Way to go Pete. Would you chase Jason Taylor into the parking lot if he did not give you a large enough tip? Better be quick on that one.
I have been going there for the last 3 months and I have yet to find better Italian food in Florida than at Cafe bella Sera. the food is so fresh, and the quality is so good it is why we would reccomend this Rest. to everyone. The portions are huge and the drinks are great and not watered down like other places. The people that do not like this place must not know good Italian. I am from NY and I would put this place right up there with the best of them! The calamari, meatballs, and Shrimp are out of this world!
