Eating here is absolutely amazing. my man got the spoon omelet and a baked croissant, both were delicious. I have the açaí smoothie bowl and it was also fantastic. the portions are large and they are generous with the ingredients; it was really a lox omelet, not a omelet with a little lox in it. I also appreciated that the granola came for my smooth bowl in a separate bowl, so it didn't get soggy before I started eating. toni is also super sweet!
Unfortunately my partner and I stopped coming here. We loved it!! Wonderful food and cool place with originally super inviting staff. For some reason unknown to us, the last few times we'd go, we would not be welcomed, would get cold responses, no smiles, outright ignored and other weird vibes and then would watch the same staff treat others completely opposite friendly, warm and welcoming in front of our eyes. We quite literally have no idea what changed, but they became cold to us and after about 3 or 4 times of this, we knew it wasn't in our heads, especially as we saw them act wonderful to other people in front of us.
It has a very cool mood and type of Gypsies/Hipster art of style. but our eating has taken forever to get out, and I suppose it is because they don't have many workers, but I don't think it should take almost as long as it (over 40 minutes) to get everything. I started with a simple bagel and my partner got a smoothie that needed at least 25-30 to cook alone. then we have a black bohnenburger and the açaí bowl.
This place is definitely funky!! Lots of plants and knick knacks with some crazy art and furniture to really tie the whole vibe together. I wanted to go here for brunch which was a bit complicated by the fact that they didn't open at the stated time. Things happen, I made it work. I kinda really wish this place were a bit cleaner. The menus were as if they'd never seen a wipe down of any kind and the surfaces just seemed a bit grimy. Service was very friendly but not even close to fast. When it comes to wait times, it was about 30 min for a drink and another 30 for food. An hour for a burrito and a breakfast pizza. Woof! Worth the wait? Not even close. Overall the burrito I had was pretty good, kinda over cooked... I don't really want another one. My dining mate got the pizza and only finished half of it so, also just pretty good. 100% never coming here again, but I like the idea.
