Little Mountain Cafe - Parksville

We decided to have breakfast here based on the recommendations of others on TripAdvisor and were disappointed overall. No one else was there except us and another patron who the server was sitting and visiting with. The food was not great and the service was minimal. Would not return.

I had a late lunch at this cafe and ordered a turkey burger with a side of borscht soup. The menu has lots of Ukrainian items. Soup was delicious - had lots of veggies and flavor. The server explained that they make the turkey patty - seemed more like a grilled cutlet than a ground patty and was also delicious. It was quiet in the cafe and we had a great conversation with the server. Seemed more like a visit with long lost family!

Spent the morning at Pyromania Pottery making Raku vases and sea stars...we were very hungry so my friend recommended this restaurant because she had enjoyed it before. I had never been. Quaint and tiny with local artwork for sale. Homey and comfortable - simple and clean. Welcomed and served promptly. Daily special offered and they made accommodation to some of my diet restrictions which was greatly appreciated.Coffee excellent and refilled. We got warmed up and enjoyed our food/ lunch together. Breakfast served all day. Nice selection on menu and generous portions.Will return another time. Hours are from 9:00 - 2;00 pm. We left just after two not even knowing it was closed - they didn't rush us out or make us leave until we were finished.Lovely little gem. Thank you!

I stopped here as it looks like a quaint little spot - thought I might find a hidden gem! SO WRONG! The service was awful from the time we walked in - one of those place that when a stranger walks in and and all the people turn an stare at you and dare you to sit down. The service was awful - food not much better. I just wanted to get as far away as possible from this place.

You'd be crazy not to eat the crepes!! And the service here is so kind too, love the look inside too very cute
