The Padre coffee is made perfectly on an old manual machine, and the chef, Fabio, has experience working at prestigious places like the Grand Hyatt. The atmosphere has a friendly neighborhood vibe and they use high-quality ingredients, as evident from their larder where you can purchase some yourself. This is easily my favorite cafe in Melbourne.
I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a cafe in Parkville's quiet backstreets by accident and I'm so glad I did. The coffee was excellent.
Located near my workplace, The Parkville Store is a great spot to take a break from the busy Royal Parade/Melbourne University area. Nestled on a peaceful tree-lined street, The Parkville Store has been my go-to place for coffee, but this time I brought some friends along for lunch.
Parkville General Store is a really cool little find . Super nice restored Victorian terrace, retro furniture and lollies and seriously great pastries. Fabio’s daily muffin is always delicious, ditto the almond croissants perfect with your first coffee of the day. The staff are all lovely, attentive but still give you space to enjoy the experience. And they remember all the little things like making sure your dog has water too. Pick a sunny Spring morning and go hang out. <br/
Lovely neighbourhood cafe. Breakfast and lunch menu with rotating specials. Also has small selection of grocery items for sale.Wrap had great flavour, $14.50. Couscous salad was nice, $16.50. Both slightly more expensive than I would have valued it at.
