Very good food. Delicious coconut shrimp. Chicken masala was very along with fish pakora. We ate the buffet. Family run place.

Many choices, great prices!This place is SO GOOD. We ordered the Buffet to go (feeds 6 8 easily). There are tons of options to choose from. We had the Tadoori Paneer and it was delish! Also had the Goat Vindaloo, Butter chicken, Chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, Chicken biryani. Everything that we have ordered from here in the past and today is excellent. The staff is lovely and welcoming. If you love Indian food, you should surely give Made in India a try. You will not regret it.UPDATE:I noticed a few reviewers said that the food was bland. It is NOT bland as it has a lot of wonderful, flavorful spices used. They are not heavy handed on salt which HELLO... too much salt is not good for you anyway. I deal with nutrition and health and all the leading experts know you should go light on salt in when cooking your dishes and add the salt to your plate if you want to.My husband has hypertension and cannot eat a lot of salt, so I LOVE this place and are thankful that they use the perfect amount and allow you to add salt to your plate. I however, did not need to add any salt.We will continue to come here for our Indian food fix we live about 20 minutes away and still come all the way to Elk Grove, just for Made In India cuisine! We have not tried the Chinese/indo plates yet, but plan to soon as they have great reviews as well.

I really like Made in India at 8649 Elk Grove Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95624. I have eaten here several times and have not had a disappointing experience. Sometimes I order from the large menu or take the buffet.Today I opted for the buffet, which had a great selection of Indian food and Asian food, which I really liked. Everything I tried was perfectly cooked and most of the food was very mild. The selection of the desserts gave me several choices, but I went for my favorite, rice pudding. You can't beat the hot Chai Tea, which is included with the meal.The ambience was very nice and gave a great dining experience for one person or a family.Even though I chose the buffet, there was a server available who brought me fresh garlic naan, a beverage and anything else I needed. The gentleman was very polite and attentive. He even answered questions about the food.Every time I come here there are always customers. At night, it can be very crowded.The prices are reasonable and they try really hard to give the best dining experience.If you like Indian/Asian food, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant!
