Yes it was already closed but he came at the door and talked with me, said he didn't want to serve me because it is closed!! Really ???? ... it isn't my first time in his store... and he's the owner.Good to know from now on...
Their Paczki were great they tasted like my Grandma use to make and the pierogies were the best, I will definitely stop back the next time I’m in Cleveland!!
The pastry here is amazing and the baker is super nice and friendly. May God bless them.
Wonderful baked goods! Nutroll is fantastic and so are the kolaches. The gentleman that bakes these yummy goodies is so nice, don't change a thing!! I will be back for sure!
One standout among the various establishments along State Road is Colos Andros Bakery. This charming bakery offers a wide selection of delicious pastries, and it's best to go early for the finest offerings. I stopped by late in the morning and was lucky enough to snag the last apricot paczki, which are delightful large doughnuts filled with fresh fruit. I also couldn't resist trying their macarons, priced at just $1.25 each. Yes, you read that right—only $1.25! While the macarons may not be as delicate as those from Ladurée or Pierre Hermé in Paris, they were still pleasantly dense and chewy. Most importantly, they didn't collapse into a fluffy mess of air bubbles like many amateur versions I've encountered in the U.S. The service was incredibly friendly, especially from a charming younger guy and someone who seemed to be his mother, who also manages the shop next door. In a time when it feels like the world is falling apart, it's uplifting to support businesses that have real, personal connections to their home countries. Slava Ukraini!
