They were accommodating and could halve a menu size for me, which was great only they charged me 3/4 of the full price. I asked some questions about the menu but did not receive help insofar as recommendations etc. The food was mediocre. Lesson learned - it's a Westfield restaurant - don't expect a lot.
I really enjoyed this restaurant. The spring rolls were divine, hand made and fantastic flavour, same for the Peking duck pancakes which had great flavours in little parcels. For our mains we had the winter special satay vermicelli prawns which had spectacular flavours ( although not strictly Chinese) and they were certainly not stingy with the seafood.Service was really very efficient, with the staff reasonably friendly
Have been to Parramatta Phoenix on a couple of occasions. The Yum Cha lunch here is always an indulgence. Dim sums and the eggplant dish are a must try. The mango pancakes are unbeatable and the best way to finish of a heart filling lunch.
Yum cha restaurant with the regular dishes available. Efficient service. Eating yum cha by yourself can be expensive so best to go with a group of three or four people. This way you can sample more dishes as well!
Have eaten here several times. Depends where your seated on how many trolley's pass you, which is not good. Food is usually up to standard, but as others have said, is often cold. I sent 2 dishes back, they returned piping hot. Got to worry if there's a grudge there. Last visit, the trolleys stopped, the ladies were all conversing together, like having a meeting, and no one being served? Strange. Will give them one more chance, that's it.
