Bonchon - Parsippany-Troy Hills

I love Bonchon but this location in specific is like the bodega version of Bonchon. The food is always subpar compared to other locations and even the drumsticks feel scrawny compared to other locations which is so weird since the supplier should be the same. I don't know how someone makes Bonchon taste worse when it's such a popular chicken but this specific location manages to. The service is also just non-existent. During my last pick up order there was no one at the register because the cashier was chatting in the back with the staff in order to hide from angry customers due long wait times for the food. It's completely unmanaged over there. I would suggest go the extra distance if possible for a better bonchon location unless you need that fix and cannot afford the time. I hope this one day isn't like this

Boneless wings were very dry and had very little sauce on it. We asked the staff if we could have more sauce and they said no. We told them if we have to pay for the extra sauce we would be ok with that too but they still said no. Food took a long time to come out, they processed more door dash orders than us sitting in the eating area. Edamame, soup, and fries were good

40 min wait on wings. Ok, I can wait. What I didn't like was that I was sold a flat old soda and when I went to exchange it for another one, I was questioned about the validity of my complaint. So, 2.50 cents is the cost of a can of soda they wouldn't replace with a viable product. 2.50 cents is what cost them a new customer and earned them a poor review. Will not be coming back here again.

Highly recommend takeout! The wings and bulgogi fries were spectacular. Next time we’ll order ahead (waited around 20 min in the restaurant, not really a sit down vibe) and will probably pass on the hot/spicy wing sauce (it was delicious but VERY spicy). The bulgogi fries were delicious and very loaded and filling. Will be returning for takeout! Hope to try some other items but these were so good.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots in town—the lunch menu is nice and affordable but be sure to order ahead via phone call. each order is made to order to ensure the crispy crunchy chicken. very accommodating for dine in and really easy for take out as well. the soy garlic is my favorite. be sure to check out their boba options as well!
