Usually, when I visit a brewery, it is a relaxed atmosphere where you are able to go to a bar and order a beer. Usually, if there is a restaurant, you can still order a beer while you wait. Not here... You have to wait here because they don't have bar channels... in a brewery... After all, we have a table. The crab dive and the cheese steak dish were good (the only reason for two stars... The tacos we have were terrible. My wife couldn't finish her, so we ordered a Crab Dip Pizza. We have a regular crab bath with bread and had waited too long to correct them... At this point we were ready to get out of this place. It was too expensive for what we received. This is not a place where I would like to go back.
Could have been 5 stars, but the staff is obviously allowed to play on their phones during working hours. When entering the restaurant, the 3 hostesses, 2 were absolutely glued to their phone. The thin somewhat larger girl did all the work while the other two sat on their floors. The waiter was on average. The food was delicious as its selection of beer. I was bored with Dogfish, my dining room partner with Stacys Mom. He has a new love. Restaurant was very clean and welcoming, some flies (expected), toilets very clean. Cool sign tells you how to say if toilet is occupied. Total cudos to cook and bartender, good work, staff to wait, main failure at first impressions.
What?s not love about a wood stove and handmade pizza? The menu has been detailed and offers various choices for each course during the day or evening. We enjoyed the beer list and the descriptions were helpful and a tasting offered our selections easy. Excellent preparation for our salad and pizza. Everything was fresh and tasteful; the ingredients were well executed and presented excellent flavors during our lunch.
We had the Burrito and the special of the day habanero tacos super wicy). We also had beer and that was refreshing and delicious. The ambience on the back terrace was relaxing. Old couples like us as well as young families and groups had a nice time
My Husband and I have loved this restaurant and have patronized them many times however, this past visit was not great. We ordered nachos with crab dip, crab dip was an extra 13 dollars, happy to pay that but when they came out there was no crab dip. When we brought it to our waitress?s attention she started pointing to a white sauce that looked just like the queso that came with our burrito and said that was the crab dip. We are both Marylanders, crab has a very distinctive flavor as well as texture. There was no crab dip on these chips. They were tasty but to be told and then have someone even point to a sauce and tell you it?s crab dip is very disappointing. The food was good but we did not get what we ordered and when brought to the staffs attention it was not taken care of.
