Cabrera's Mexican - Pasadena

Good food. Clean environment. TV screens all over. They serve alcohol. Bathrooms were clean. Love this place.

The staff is disastrous and just as bad as the waiter and the manager. We feel DISCRIMINATED. We ordered michelada and a beer AND we showed our IDs from our countries and their stupid rules did not accept any IDs from another country. Don't go consuming if you don't have a California ID because they won't sell you alcohol. I am Mexican and I feel sorry for their stupid rules. Ridiculous!

Cabrera’s Mexican cuisine is jewel in the Pasadena. This was our first-time visiting Cabrera’s. Marcela was our waitress who brought over one of the most delicious hot sauces that I have ever has. Please look at my picture o the Cabrera’s Hot Sauce. We went with the Chicken Fajitas and Chicken burrito. The Chicken Fajitas are surrounded with veggies on a HOT plate with sides of beans, rice, sour cream and guacamole. Look at my photos. When Marcela brought the dish I was shocked. The dish is large, steamy and delicious. The presentation of the food is as good at the taste. The chicken Burrito was cheesy and full of flavor. My girlfriend has to take half home. Marcela recommended the Flan and we decided to try it. My girlfriend said that it was the most delicious flan that she has ever had. The consistency is that of cheesecake with the orange sauce was that incredible. LOOK at the photos of the cake. Marcela shared that come to get the flan. They have a large flan (cake size) available for parties and special occasions which is very popular. Cabrera’s is absolutely delicious! YOU will LOVE IT!

Made the trip over 45 minutes away A few times to go here definitely worth the food and drinks.

Very satisfying, authentic, reasonably priced food. I ordered the mojarra frita it was pretty good. I highly recommend the flan for dessert, it was so thick creamy, best one I've ever had.
