I also enjoyed our last visit immensely. I had to place an order for seven people since we were having a mini party, and I called from my 860 area code number. The guy on the other end was really concerned that we wouldn’t show up—he even questioned if I had the right location! He called me back a few minutes later just to make sure I was still on my way. When I arrived, they brought out this massive polystyrene box! You couldn't even fit that thing through a door! D. Essen is amazing, and the owner is incredibly warm-hearted. Great vibes and unforgettable memories, guys!
I visited the restaurant with my family and was really looking forward to my steak and shrimp. Unfortunately, the shrimp arrived cold, and the bacon was overcooked. The waiter brought out a fresh batch of shrimp and bacon, but to my disappointment, the new shrimp were undercooked as well. I informed the waiter about the issue, and he offered to bring another set of shrimp and bacon, but at that point, I had lost my appetite. As a gesture of goodwill, he returned with a flan for us to try. Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience.
Oscar, a waiter and bartender, is charismatic and attentive. He definitely compliments the delicious food. :
Walked into this place not knowing what to expect. Felt pretty relaxed with a chillin environment. There was a small band playing in the corner. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Gustavo who knows every drink in the book and had a great chat with him. Really a nice place to go and relax
