Oji Sushi Sake - Pasadena

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 Chirashi Bowl, Scallop Roll, and Yellowtail Roll. The rolls were simple but the seafood were all really fresh. The chirashi bowl was our favorite since the sashimi were generous slices, the rice was nicely cooked and seasoned, andthe seasoning was complimentary without being overwhelming. Ambience: 5/5 very clean with neat and more modern decorations.Still very cozy in a way with the dimmer lights without it being too dark Service: 5/5 server was more reserved but stillattentive. We did have a roll that didn't show up for a while but he was able to follow up on our behalf and got the order toour table within 5 minutes Value for price: 4/5 on the pricier side but the quality seems worth it

DO NOT order from this place! I called to place an order because I wanted to pay with cash. They I said I couldn?t do that o had to order online. So I placed a large order, received the notifications that my order was received and then ready. My husbandwent to pick up the order and they said they never received it. He showed the of the receipts and emails we received. They notonce offered to help us out, they were rude and said we have to handle the refund on our own! TERRIBLE STAFF and establishment.Don?t waste your money.. there are a million better places then this!

The food was awesome! The happy hour seems to be a little different from the past reviews. They do have sake but one get one free. It was warm inside when I was there, idk if the AC was just running low at that time. Service was awesome.

A good local spot for sushi and rolls. Not the best I've had but still good. The hot sake and pitchers of Sapporo are a great deal when dining there. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating available to fit your mood. I recommend trying this place out inPasadena. Instead of SushiStop, go to Oji Sushi.
