Salsa Tex-mex Grill - Pasadena

Our server was very friendly and personable. We visited on a Tuesday and enjoyed half-price tacos along with the $3 Happy Hour margaritas. The portions were small but tasty, and the tacos were delicious – a fantastic deal with the discount. The salsa was also incredible. Although the space is cozy, the decor is charming, and it wasn’t too crowded when we arrived just after 5, but by the time we left, it was nearly full. We did have a minor issue with our bill, likely due to the restaurant being new and still smoothing out some details, but when we inquired about it, the staff resolved it quickly and with a smile.

A beautiful casual culinary experience. My wife and I went one day for lunch, which was their Taco Tuesday, so we could get our tacos at half price. I have the steak, which was nicely seasoned and we cook while my wife got the chicken. The portions were reasonable without being excessively large, and were quite delicious. Especially since we also got the Salsa Bar, and were able to try some other salsa beside what came with our meal. The mango was really delicious. Your menu looks pretty convincing and we want to go back and try some of their entrees for dinner. If I were disappointed by everything, it would be that while most of their salsa was very tasteful and tasty, none was actually hit. Most would be considered mild or moderate. A really hot salsa or two would definitely be nice to see on their menu.

My husband and I came here for lunch. The atmosphere was great. Our server was pleasant and our food came out quickly. We got the guacamole which was fresh and came out with warm tortilla chips. My husband ordered the burrito (with steak) and I ordered the pulled pork tacos (came as an order of three). Everything was very good and fresh. We were also pleasantly surprised that there was a drive through.

Excellent choice of homemade salsas. The Loco Salsa was definitely my favorite! Ordered the steak street tacos very tender and flavorful. Chicken tacos were a little tough but the waitress swapped them out for another variety with no hassles. Overall not bad!

Fantastic restaurant! We had been wanting to try it since they opened and finally got the chance tonight! Our server, Ginn, was very attentive and kept our glasses filled. Food was prompt and delicious. We tried the steak tacos, shrimp tacos, and the salsa bar. The steak tacos were our favorite. My wife enjoyed their white Sangria and I tried their margarita. All of it was great and the manager, Armando, checked in during the meal to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
