Kabuki Japanese Old Pasadena

I am gluten free, and it didn’t seem the staff was very knowledgeable. They do have a glutenfree menu, but barely anything is on it. My husband and mom liked their meals okay. Husband got sushi. I ordered chicken and brown rice. The chicken was not edible. I ate two bites. The rice was clumpy not sticky clumpy when the server took away my barelytouched meal, she didn’t even ask if everything was okay... won’t be going here again

We left after min because no one served us. The waiter told us he would be right there after min. min later he told us that he had to go do something but would take our drink order. He never came back and we left. The restaurant was pretty empty but they sat us in the back. Horrible experience. Will never come back

Our server, Michael, rocked. He was so friendly, attentive, helpful, and flawless. We had a great time and really enjoyed the food, beer, cold warm sake, and the ambiance. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the bathroom being weirdly, eerily underground downstairs. It feels like it's about to turn into an IT Stephen King scene. I was looking for a red balloon. Anyway, also very reasonable pricing. Thank you
