Came here for dinner with our 10 yo son and he asked that we post the following review: This place was amazing. If I could live from a restaurant for my life, it would be this, the service was amazing and they had the most beautiful waiters. The food was delicious and works for every opinion.
Very cozy restaurant; Piano in the corner. Staff are all super friendly and like what they do. Eating is always perfect. Very recommended.
Stone point Bar Grill is a hidden gem in the hills of Pasadena. The Stoney Point is located directly on the 134 Fwy and offers an Italian menu in a cozy traditional Italian environment. There is a main dining room that offers intimate dinner or a dining area next to the bar for a more casual, social location. There is a piano in this dining room. The bar is fun and lively. Locals come and have a quick bite at the bar, and it seemed like everyone knew all! The service is on site! Guests are immediately welcomed with a Brushetta toast and tomatoes. We enjoyed the Crab Cake appetizer, the Lobster Ravioli and an evening special plate of Halibut. The fish we couldn't finish. Not fresh and cooked. Very enjoyed the Crab Cakes. The wine and wine list must be revalued. I had the Sangiovese and then a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. Wine did not seem to have been stored at the correct temperature of 55 degrees. The glass was not a typical high-end waylas. I would probably bring my own bottle of wine the next time or just have a cocktail. That was the only thing I was disappointed. Waiting staff was present and attentive to our table needs. Friendly and suggestive. He even took our picture at the table and back in the dining room. The waiter thanked me for coming and for his bliss. (I gave more than the typical 20% because he was so helpful). Parking is tight. There were three marked spaces that I was able to sneak one. I'm not sure where other girls parked? I saw two cars parallel to the side, but not in marked spaces. I'd definitely go back here. Have fun.
After many years of looking at the restaurant when we invited it to the 134, my husband friends, and we went to see Stoney Point. What a pleasant surprise to get both casual and experienced service as well as inventive and delightful cuisine. We had crabcake, San Rafael salad, pork chops, lemon chicken and spaghetti with sausage. All the elections were delicious. The salad had a nasty vinaigrette that I will try at home now. Excellent. We'll be back.
