With a group of 7 after wine tasting. The food was pretty good, but the service was extremely slow. I made a reservation for 4 hours and they were shocked that I had one.. Didn't they check their system? Had to wait 15 minutes until the tables are pushed together and set, and then waited ten minutes until someone comes to the table to even bring us water. A total of 3 stars, 5 for food 1 for service.

We went to Estrella to celebrate several family birthdays, and really enjoyed our experience. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The food was excellent all the way around, from the soups to the desserts and everything in between. Several people in our party ordered the Chile Rellenos, and said Estrella's version of the dish was the best they'd ever had. I had the Cuban sandwich, which was delicious. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Paso Robles!

We opted for their small plates, with a salad. The chicken salad was pretty good. They split it for us without a fee. The small plates we ordered were not a good value. They had nice names, but turned out to be pretty mundane, and not very tasty. Our waiter was very helpful.

Love the food. Javier is a gem. We always enjoy interacting with him. Such a warm pleasant person. We will be back!
