Mario's Y Polleria - Passaic

This is my favorite spot! The chicken is packed with flavor and the prices are really reasonable. The owner is incredibly friendly, too. I've become a regular here, haha. The food here is better than at other competing Peruvian restaurants.

Best peruvian food in town ! Best chicken in town! Mr. Mario and his staff are always very nice to us when we visit parking is a bit hard since its in a down town area as well as its cash only and its a little pricey but very worth it

I honestly can say the only thing he has that is awesome is his green sauce (ahi), I bought a chicken literally at 12pm and although it had flavor it was hard, ordered a salchipapa which it's just french fries and hotdogs besides that's $10, normally $7 or $8 it was chicken hot dogs, I saw when the lady went next door too buy it, and it was NASTY, trust me when he first opened he was better, now definitely not worth my money. The lomo was ok now he jacked it up from $14 to $17.

$30 for one order of arroz chaufa special lol.. what a rip off..never ordering from there again. :

The food is excellent, and they serve a fantastic Chicha Morada. The staff is very friendly.
