The Innsteg Cafe is located directly at the Inn, very close to the Fifth Bridge between Klinikum Uni and the New Center downtown. It is located off the tourist routes, unless you are on the bike path along the Inn. From the side of the road it seems quite inconspicuous and almost does not appear. The road is also narrow and quite strong. Parking is available only in the surrounding car parks, there are no 5min walk from the central garage. Access is barrier-free up to very small levels, the toilets are flattering and are also relatively accessible from size. To the Inn is a beautiful terrace with a correspondingly beautiful view of Inn and Innstadt. The name Cafe deceives something about the offer, it's a restaurant in my eyes. BEDING: After picking up a table, the menu was taken from the service. She asked me if I already know what I want to drink or if I want to take a look into the map. The operators were uniformly dressed with a black top and a skirt apron and made a quite professional impression (even if students were there). The beverages were brought by an extra force, which is apparently only responsible for pouring out and serving drinks. There were no recommendations, but in the lunch (pauses) business, there is also a bit faster and more direct. The payment process also ran without special events, there was a real receipt. ESSEN: There are really nice menus that were made for the local (with embossing inscription on the cover). The leaves were placed in protective casings (but NOT 08 15 transparent casings). The offer is not excessive, but there is something for everyone. On working days there are still the so-called lunches, 2 foods to choose with the hint as long as the stock is enough. The rest of the menu goes over Burger, Schnitzel etc... without now taking all possible nations in passing. There are also seasonal offers. It is also worth a good wine offer, as you could see on the map, the wine fridge and coolers. Here you can also come to a glass of wine in the evening. I ate a lunch offer, a goulash with napkin dumplings and salad for 6.90. The dumpling made a self-made impression, in my opinion a spherical dumpling is not a napkin dump, but maybe I'm wrong. He was nicely loose, well seasoned. The Gulasch was nothing really special now, and I think there was still a lot of peep. It was not a finished product now, but sorry my own goulash tastes much better. Normally I don't eat something like that in the restaurant, which I can cook and do at home. From the quality of the meat, etc., however, it was completely fine, as was the amount, even though it did not look so at the beginning. My review now only refers to this Gulasch, with another more expensive dish it may look different. The salad has tasted well, consisted of various leaf salads, cucumbers, tomato etc., with a homedressing that was also made itself and made a fresh impression. The goulash was served in a beautiful design plate, the salad in a very simple peel. AMBIENTE: This is one of the very strong points of the local. There are almost 3 areas. On the one hand, the terrace, which is somewhat deeper than the restaurant, then the area towards the river, which looks like a large conservatory and the rear area. The view alone is worth almost an extra star and the value of it should be a suitable table, because of course they are desirable. The rest of the restaurant makes a very new impression, here the flood was probably involved. Tables (in wood optics) do not have tablecloths, there are stylish chairs and also upholstered chairs, all make a harmonious impression. The aquarium in the beverage counter is remarkable. In the room there is an open fireplace, no idea whether it is in operation in winter or whether it is just a dust trap. Music sprinkling in the local area with current music, in the toilets there is a very quiet meditation music. In the restaurant there are magazines for reading when it should take longer. SAUBERKEIT: Nothing to complain, tables are wiped off immediately after free, the toilets are new and clean, no dirt corners cutlery and glasses also clean. In cleanliness PLV: prices are reasonable, there are also more expensive dishes, but they are the usual level (we are in the middle of Passau and that many students are a guarantee of dumping prices, is a myth that has already been refuted in other university cities) FAZIT: With another dish I could imagine going back here again, but then super on the terrace or winter garden.
