Lefty's And Pizzeria - Paterson

Simply amazing pizza. Ended up going here because the far more famous Paterson pizza place is on vacation for the week and so glad we had the opportunity. Great pizza. The crust is somewhat hard to describe. Certainly not a classic super thin tavern pizza. It is a little bready. Soft and chewy with an amazing crisp crust that doesn't sag. It is almost like the crust on a really good Baguette bread. Usually I would say a chewy, bready pizza crust is a bad thing but they pull it off somehow. Cooked to perfection. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Reheated really well, too. The cheese was nice and very good pepperoni. Pretty light on the sauce so couldn't really get a sense of it but the pizza worked with that amount of sauce just the same. Love their food, I've tried pizza, pasta, salads, burgers, chicken tenders and fries and I've never been disappointed.
