U Scontru - Patrimonio

This restaurant was recommended to us. I was disappointed by the shameful appearance at the arrival. we were greeted by a charming owner who could not be more attentive. the food was well thought out and tasteful, presentation was excellent. portioning, rather on the big side...for us (being ogaps) to make a way around. not clear.

Located in a nice little town (or actually in the outskirts of the town). Close to the road, but very nice outside sitting area and good service. Prices are maybe a little above average, but the food was simple and good. A good range of...choices in the menu, but dont expect a Micehlin experience. You are in the countryside, and this is for sure a fair place to spend a few hours

Apparently a very popular restaurant, we stayed in Patrimonio so this involved walking beside the main road out of the village, which had no pavement for the l;ast few hundred yards but it was well worth the walk. The restaurant was large and we did...not feel overcrowded and the quality and range of food was excellent.

Average place, with average price at above average prices. we tried both fixed price menu and a la carte. nothing special, but nothing bad. pasta is used as a beside dish that I don't like, but is not strange in France. which is completely unacceptable to me, that a 15 € lamb hack dish, contain only 3 small pieces.

Although there were many people in this restaurant, eating is not good and the price is equal or higher than in some restaurants in saint florent. the chef is strange and has no idea about good French or Italian cuisine.
