A very beautiful place for a snack and a glass of wine. Note that the snack portions are very large, so take 2-3 friends to share. The baked Camembert is fantastique!
The place itself looks beautiful, the selection of wines is decent, even a little expensive. I would have liked a regional selection. The problem was the staff: not very welcoming, much tension between the two ladies. You're not asked if you want something more, if you're okay. If you don't ask, no one will be present. I would have liked one or two more, but I did not have the impression that this would have been a welcome step. Be it as it is, probably the wrong evening.
A lovely small wine bar with a good collection of wine from France and elsewhere with friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed an early evening drink in this bar on a cold and wet December evening as we explored Pau. Staff were able to talk...knowledgeably about the wine they had and they were also able to recommend some great local places to eat.
This is a very small wine bar with good selections of wines, French as well as from other countries (starting at about €15 a bottle). They have a lot of tables outside when the weather permits, and on a nice evening its a lot of...fun sitting, sipping wine, watching people go by (it's on a pedestrian street). The offer plates of cheeses, sausage and hams to go with your wine (about €8 €16) as well as some desserts. This is a good place to be when the weather is warm. The bar inside is very cosy, with wood paneling and low ceilings, so on the colder days it is packed inside!
