The Pawlet Station

Someone please purchase this place so we can have a good breakfast spot around here again! The music was always great, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly!

We've visited several times now, and each experience has been great. This time, I enjoyed some delicious chocolate chip pancakes, while my companion had the Vermont raspberry pancakes topped with authentic Vermont maple syrup. The bacon was cooked exactly to our liking as well. The atmosphere is lively, especially watching the cooks at work. The service was excellent too—my coffee cup was always filled. This has become a new favorite breakfast spot for us! Service: Dine in.

I've witnessed more owners come and go at this station than at many other places, which is a challenge for maintaining business in a place like Vermont, particularly in Pawlet village. The current owner is an exceptional cook, known for his humor and skill in preparing a wide variety of dishes. His staff is fantastic, consisting mostly of local residents, and they occasionally hire younger people as well. The wait time from ordering to receiving your meal is just right, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is quite pleasant, reminiscent of sitting in a charming old Vermont home.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced, but there are times when the dishes arrive cold.
