Southern Comforts, Southern Dining Seafood Shack

I can't say enough good things about this family-owned local gem. The food is fantastic and the staff is incredibly friendly. It offers excellent value for your money. Be sure to try one of their homemade cakes—absolutely top-notch!

On Valentine's Day, we visited this restaurant for the first time. The owner, Greg Metcalfe, is very hands-on and ensures that everything is fresh. Unfortunately, by around 7 PM, they had already run out of the bowl and oat sash. We ordered a New Zealand Pinot Grigio, but both selections of Pinot Grigio were sold out, so we opted for the house Pinot Grigio, which was quite good. The fried green tomatoes and the French onion soup were fantastic appetizers. For our main course, we enjoyed the famous Steak Diane, which was also well-prepared. We highly recommend Southern Comfort for a casual dining experience.

We really enjoyed our meal at southern comforts. The food is very fresh and clearly made from scratch. The servings were huge and extremely well-prepared. I got a plate of just the side dishes, and each of them were fantastic. We had a lovely time talking with the staff and the owner as well. We would absolutely eat there again.
