Hope Village Kitchen - Pawtucket

We had a small group that had dinner before a local event. I called to double check that the restaurant was able to treat the party of 6 in time as we were on a certain timeline and had difficulties last time we had eaten here. We were sure it wasn't a problem. I let them know that there was a huge event next door, just in case they didn't know. They told me they could easily take us. We ordered food and gave the waiter a head on our timeline. After 45 minutes without food, I asked her to check the time and let me know. The waiter never came back with an update. I asked again after we waited for an hour and got no answer. After 70 minutes waiting and again we ask them informed, we had to go. When we left the waiter, a waiter apologized and said they were really understated. This is completely unacceptable. All they had to do was tell us that there was an MASSIVE delay. We are all hungry for our event. Since this happened the second time, they lost my business for good. Too bad, because it's a big room and the food, if it ever comes, is good. A bad administration and communication. I don't recommend it at all.

When they felt they were still in the room and worked out the details about the service, but the food was great. The riders were particularly good with just a small kick for the seasons. We were not particularly happy with the martial art that showed on the big screen TVs - no one seemed to be attentive, and there are enough people who do not pay attention to watching this kind of violence that could be outspoken for many potential customers. If we came back, I'd ask the manager to put something else.

I was surprised how good the food is here, as I thought it was just another pizza place. The pizza is good, but the dishes were even better. They had no problem that we take our food up, so we don't get too late for our bowling reservation. Will definitely come back!

That was a terrible experience. We were on site, but when the food didn't come after an hour, we asked and became from the manager that they were too busy to visit our order. Our 4 years old was too hungry, so we asked when the food came, got the same answer that they were too busy and so we had to go. Crappy Square! Arrogant and very inappropriate floor manager! Never go there or support this place!

About 45 minutes after we ordered our food, we had to flag down the waitress to ask where our food was, as she had been avoiding us. We were told that the kitchen was backed up and that our pizzas hadn’t even been put into the oven yet. The restaurant was not busy, but they apparently had a large order placed at the bowling alley, which they also make food for. Paid for our drinks and left before our food was even started after waiting for over an hour.
