They had a good selection of things that you can put in the hot pot as well. I really enjoyed the sliced meats and the tofu. They also had a lot of interesting looking teas and cocktails. We ordered the first package on their menu with a couple appetizers. We had four people in our party and we were all stuffed at the end of the meal. The sauce station here was a little smaller than what you would typically see at hot pot places. But the sauces they had were all great. The decor and the speakeasy style entrance were also pretty cool. Would definitely come back.
When I found out that there is hot pot on the north shore (with plant based options! I had to try it. I got the spicy broth and the mushroom broth, with the Veggie B package and some extras. The broth kept temperature well without having to fuss with it, and when it came time for a refill the server was right there. The veggies were fresh, and the noodles were perfect. The spicy broth was the better of the two. The sauces were *ok*; we could only try a few of them. The cocktails were well made on the smaller side, but they tasted great. Overall it was a great experience!
I’ve been wanting to try hot pot for a while but never had the opportunity until going to Pots and let me tell you it was incredible across the board! The atmosphere is so fun, especially that it’s speakeasy style. You forget you’re in Peabody! The homemade teas have incredible flavor, especially the strawberry honey hibiscus. The dining food is a complete experience. It’s a blast to try the different flavor combinations and you can tell it’s great quality, it’s fresh and super flavorful. The staff is kind and you can tell they’re passionate about the business. I can’t wait to come back!
Went to Pots a little over a week ago with my badass home cooking wife and our budding foodie 10-year-old. What a great time! The atmosphere is incredible from the speakeasy entrance through the tea shop (by the way, they have an amazing selection of tea) all the way to the food truck fabricated kitchen window. Service was excellent, I wish I could remember the kid who walked us through our first hot pot experience. He was highly knowledgeable of the menu and accommodating without hovering. The food was excellent. We got half mushroom broth and half spicy broth and we got the meal for 2 to 4 people. Beef, pork, shrimp, chicken, veggies, bok choy, clams, and we got a few extra dumplings. It was a wonderful experience we left full, happy and entertained. I recommend this for a night out experience. Really like having something like this nearby without having to go into Boston. Keep up the great work, Pots!
It was amazing! I’ve always wanted to try hot pot but never had because the closest one was all the way in Boston. I was super excited when I found out there now is hot pot in Peabody. Also, the fact it is speakeasy style was even cooler. You walk through a hidden door in their tea shop which is a really cool experience. The food was amazing and portions were big. Even their mochi for desert was the best Mochi I ever had. 100% would recommend.
