Mcalister's Deli - Peachtree City

I have dined at this restaurant numerous times and have always been satisfied with the service and the quality of the food. My go-to choices are the French dip sandwich and the club sandwich, which are both delicious. I have found the side dishes to be somewhat lacking and would appreciate the addition of a pasta salad. I have also enjoyed their chili and their iced tea is superb.

The restaurant is in a somewhat hidden location, but the food is great. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the delicious aroma. The staff is very friendly and attentive, constantly checking to make sure we were enjoying our meal. I ordered the Southwest salad, hoping for a spicy kick, but it turned out to be on the sweeter side. Overall, it's a great spot to visit if you're a fan of fresh sandwiches.

We stopped in for two sandwiches, they were made perfect....not the two slice of meat sandwich many places have but a REAL sandwich. Ice tea is great, server perfect. Can't say enough about this place, hope the next trip there is as great! Establishment super clean and no long wait for the food. Highly suggested to try!

Maybe it was a busy and stressful day at this location, but the food quality made me want to walk into a 7-Eleven and buy a sandwich there instead. I took a walk to this location with my dog and called to see if it were okay for me to bring my dog inside for a split second to pickup my order, or have someone come to the door. I would have been happy to go in to get it, but wanted to respect the establishment and not bring my dog in if it would not be appreciated. It was rudely suggested that they have a pickup window... MA 'AM, you need to drive up to it, and the situation did not get better when I told her I had walked. She found someone to bring my order to the door and they looked at me like a dog and a woman were mutually exclusive. What?? A woman with a dog? I have to walk to the door and hand the lady standing 3 feet away a bag of food? I 'm so confused!!! I was concerned with respecting the resturaunt, but should have done them a favor and let my dog get up in there to make sandwiches. She probably would have done a better job.

I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. I attempted to place an online order, but the system was down so I had to call in my order instead. I spoke with two different people for some reason. I ordered a Rachel sandwich, a side garden salad, and a regular chef's salad with avocado and multicolored seared peppers. I made sure to repeat my order after placing it. I placed my order at 6pm and picked it up at 6:30pm. When I got back to work and checked the bag, I discovered that I had received a grilled chicken salad with dark, unappetizing avocado that looked like it belonged in the trash. The salad also did not have the multicolored peppers I had requested, only large purple onions. I called the restaurant to inform them of the mistake and was told that the avocado they used was the only one they had, which had been sent in that morning. It is common sense to discard vegetables that are not fresh instead of serving them to paying customers. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again and I urge them to train their employees to care more about their customers. The owners should be ashamed and the restaurant should undergo a thorough inspection.
