She was talking to the other girl and waited till I got in there to replace the food. She really needs to be talked to about her customer service because if she was graded for that she would have gotten an F. I am never going to return here and I advise anyone that is thinking of partaking in this restaurant, please go somewhere else and save your time.
TCC (Spice it Up) is the Best Caribbean food in the Atlanta Metro. Beef Patties are moist and flavorful. ROTI is a must try ! And then we get to their Jerk Chicken ... the BEST i've ever had. (The Jerk Chicken Sandwich for $8 is to die for). No matter where you are, this place is worth the drive! (Would give it 6 Stars if I could)
Nice people that run it but the food just isn't that good. i got a oxtail plate with rice and it lacked flavor over all, and i picked up a jerk chicken plate for my dad and he didn't enjoy that either.
Ownership has changed different store name, no longer Tropical Caribbean Cuisine (now called something Spice) different servers and smaller plates. Food is still good, portions smaller now and prices are same for the smaller portions. Not sure if I will return, things were perfect like they were, but perhaps the pandemic necessitated the changes. The curry goat and chicken dishes are my favorites. The beef patties are much better than average. I think I will try the other one close by for comparison.
We enjoyed our food at Tropical Caribbean Cuisine. My husband ordered two stew chicken platters to go. The amount of food we received was plentiful. We had stew chicken, cabbage, rice peas and plantains. It was seasoned well and really tasty. I couldn't finish all of my food because it was a lot. I have to say we got our money's worth at this place. I would definitely return if we were back in the area again.
