Only desserts and hot pot are delicious, others I think are good
One of the highlights we were eager to try was the famous sautéed pork intestines with hot pepper, which I must warn is not for the faint of heart. The ingredients practically melt in your mouth, and all the flavors are beautifully balanced. It's definitely a dish for those with a sense of adventure! The sweet and tangy pork was served in a hollowed-out pineapple, and I was pleasantly surprised by how filling it was. The deep-roasted pork, complemented by a unique sauce and the refreshing taste of pineapple, was truly satisfying. Other dishes we tried included braised pork with seasonal vegetables, steamed chicken with salted ginger, sautéed Chinese broccoli, and a casserole with salted fish and eggplant. Each of these dishes was rich in flavor. A must-mention is the remarkable dessert selection. YM House takes time to craft some of the best Hong Kong-style desserts in Sydney, opting for fresh ingredients rather than pre-packaged options. The perfection comes from a delightful mix of mango, sago, cream, red bean, durian, and coconut milk. The freshness of all the components truly stands out. Overall, it was a fantastic meal, and we can't wait to return to sample more dishes and desserts!
Extremely poor service! The food is overpriced and not worth the cost. If you're looking for good Chinese food, I recommend going to CHINA DOLL, where you'll get better service for the same price. Avoid this place at all costs!
The food here is incredibly delicious! It's authentic Cantonese cuisine made with really fresh ingredients, and the prices are quite reasonable. They offer excellent free-range chicken for hotpot, too. I highly recommend this hidden gem!
