Damo Sushi - Pearl City

Everything made fresh when ordered, service was great for me.

This is one of my favorite places for Poke Bowls. Shoyu and limu are excellent!

The service and the food were really extraordinary. My father saw a sign that said fresh ahi from the market daily, and that won my father. My parents and I came there at 4:00 and expected there was a sit-down type of food, but there were not many seats just because the majority of people take the food to go. The person at the checkout was really nice. Reading previous reviews makes me bad because my parents and I had no problems at all. We sat down and were served with quality service. I honestly didn't expect us to get a treatment. I ordered the Double Dragon, and I have the thickest pieces of Unagi I've ever served. I love sushi and have tried a number of different places; Damo Sushi is number one until unagi goes in my book. Not only were the pieces thick, but there were so fleshy and well balanced with fat. It's really hard to find! My parents usually like to mix their Wasabi and Shiyu together, and the cashier could get both my mother and dad two small bowls. My father and I bought drinks, but the cashier, I suppose the owner, could also offer us cups for water. I'm really sorry other people have had bad experiences, but my parents and I will come back. If they gave him a second chance, I hope that a better experience would sharpen their opinions and thoughts.
